About Our Organization

Founded in 2013, Hire Our Heroes began as small, dedicated group of veterans committed to positioning veterans for success in their civilian careers. HOH started with a boots on the ground, mentorship approach to veteran transition, and has since shifted its approach to training and education as the key to ensuring our veterans are meaningfully employed. Corporate and Government partners such as Skillsoft, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, Netapp, DHS, & Veterati, to name a few, have scaled this mission by offering in-demand training opportunities virtually, at no charge, through Hire our Heroes. This is an exciting time for HOH, as we work to expand our training library and sponsor certification attempts to increase our veterans marketability to employers.  Read more about us at: www.hireourheroes.org

Although our mission is delivered to a national audience, Hire Our Heroes has an office located in Leesburg, VA. We are led by a Board of Directors, and supported by one other full time staff position, and several volunteer mentors.
